Ben creates music for film, tv and theatre.
He has composed music for several short films, and his orchestrations and arrangements are regularly performed in the concert hall and in theatres around the world. He was mentored by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and worked closely on the original productions of LOVE NEVER DIES, THE WIZARD OF OZ, and the JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR Arena Tour. He has also contributed arrangements and orchestrations to the London and tour productions of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, CATS, TELL ME ON A SUNDAY, STARLIGHT EXPRESS and THE SOUND OF MUSIC.
Alongside Richard Hough, he has written several new musicals including BILLY THE KID whose cast album hit #2 in the iTunes soundtrack chart, THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE which had a sell-out concert production in London’s West End, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and an as-yet-unannounced project for The Watermill Theatre.
Ben is available for commission as a composer and orchestrator for film, TV and theatre projects.
